Automatic Protection
Two halves, and you can run either one.
Woof learns one thing about you — where home is — and uses it for exactly one purpose: knowing whether you’re there.
- Away ProtectionYou leave, and a timer starts with a real deadline held on Woof’s servers — not a countdown living on the phone you might have dropped. Come back and it ends by itself.
- Home ProtectionFor the opposite worry. If you’ve been home unusually long, Woof asks whether you’re all right — it asks, it doesn’t assume, because a long day indoors is usually just a long day indoors.

Fall Protection
If your Apple Watch detects a hard fall, Woof can check on you straight away instead of waiting for your next check-in. Apple’s watch does the detecting — Woof does the following up.
It doesn’t monitor your health, and it can’t promise to catch every fall. What it changes is the waiting: without it, somebody who fell in the morning isn’t asked about until their next check-in comes due.

Woof is free to download, and Woof+ is an optional upgrade you make inside the app. Subscriptions are handled by Apple and cancellable in your Apple account at any time.
One thing Woof+ is not. It does not add a monitoring center, a guaranteed response time, or anyone calling 911 on your behalf. No tier of Woof does that. Woof+ gives Woof more ways to notice — what happens afterwards is the same plan free Woof already runs.
