About Woof
That's the whole gap Woof exists to close.
Plenty of people live alone with an animal, or travel for work, or keep hours that mean nobody would immediately notice they’d gone quiet. If they can’t get home or can’t respond, their pets are waiting — and nobody knows to come.
It isn’t a rare situation and it doesn’t take a catastrophe: a hospital visit, a breakdown somewhere with no signal, a day that goes wrong in an ordinary way. Woof was built by a pet owner who recognized that gap in their own life, and it closes it in the simplest way available — by making sure somebody you already trust is told, and told early enough to matter.
How it gets built
Woof is a safety product, which makes it very easy to overpromise. These are the lines that keep it honest.
Nothing in Woof dials 911 or requests a welfare visit on its own. Woof reaches the people you chose. If a person at Woof ever decides emergency services should be involved, that is a human decision, taken deliberately and written down.
Every deadline lives on Woof’s servers, not in the app. We assume your phone is off, flat, lost or lying — because on the one day it matters, it might be.
No countdowns, no guilt, no implying that the free version leaves you exposed. If Woof ever has to make you frightened to make you subscribe, it isn’t worth subscribing to.
Woof has no customers yet, so there are no testimonials, ratings or numbers on this site. Everything described here is something the product actually does today.
